I am Hasith Perera, a Ph.D. candidate studying Plasma Physics in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at Clemson University. Originally from Sri Lanka, I moved to the United States in 2021 to pursue graduate studies at West Virginia University, where I earned my master's degree before joining Clemson University.

Outside of research, I enjoy exploring the outdoors by bicycle. During graduate school, cycling became a rewarding hobby and a great way to discover less traveled roads. I am also a licensed amateur radio operator (KE8TJE), a hobby that complements my passion for hands-on experimentation and engineering. Amateur radio has given me opportunities to build, experiment, and connect with people around the world.

This website serves as a space to share my research as well as personal interests through blog posts.
